Join us for a fun-filled day,
deciphering clues that lead to treasures
all around northern New Mexico!

September 14-15, 2012

List of Clues

In celebration of the State of New Mexico’s Centennial, the treasures in this aerial hunt will emphasize New Mexico’s rich history, including influences from all three of its distinct cultures. Pilots and their crews earn points (“gold”) for correctly identifying the clues and also for taking digital photographs of the sites from the air. The team returning with the most gold wins! Treasures will all lie within a specified radius of the Santa Fe VOR, covering much of northern New Mexico.

September 14, 12 PM: Clue list will be released.
September 15: 8 AM briefing at KSAF. Teams are free to hunt at their leisure following the briefing but must check in their clue sheets, sectional and photos at KSAF by 12:30 PM. Awards presentations and full revelation of the treasures will be after lunch. We expect to be finished by 3 PM.

In case of inclement weather on September 15, the event may be delayed by 1 day (September 16). Postponement will be announced by 8 PM September 14.

We will only allow flights in VFR conditions, and all FAA rules and regulations must be obeyed. For safety, we insist that there be at least 2 people in each aircraft (pilot and photographer).Complete rules.
